A bit Rawk. A bit Reggae. Slow flowin' phat beats, (the good kind that make you wanna move). Real sublime dub masters, bong hittin', leg tappin', groove focing beats for those of us who hate to sit still.

Biography

PinkBelly: (pi[ng] k bel-E) 1. verb. the act of slapping another's stomach until it is sore and pink, 2. noun. The best f*
The musical mosaic that PinkBelly creates is a fusion of several different genres. From reggae to funk, ska, rock or punk, the fantastic foursome of PinkBelly has created a brand of melodic rock which is truly their own. Representing a cross section of what music should be: - loud, fun, energentic, intelligent and passionate. It's a party on stage that spreads like an infection to anyone and everyone within ear-shot.

Based in Guelph Ontario, PinkBelly banded together in the summer of 2001. Since then they have created two CD's (Out of the Smoke, 2001 and ...what lies ahead..., 2003) and played countless shows all across southern Ontario, including billings with notables such as The Salads, Belvedere, Bedouin Soundclash and Flashlight Brown. With over 30 originals and a whack of covers PinkBelly has played for audiences of 20 to 2000, for ages 15 to 50, for 30 minutes or 3 hours... no matter how many, how old, or for how long the end result is always the same; a smile on your face, a bounce in your step and a PinkBelly beat stuck in you head.
