Pink Crudge Caravan

Hey, we are Jo, Ferg and Barnes, add us together and we make up Pink Crudge Caravan. Jo and Ferg have been friends since almost their beginning of time and Barnes came along sometime later when we all washed up at the same school. Soon after, we started playing music together and at some point became a band, which Jo christened. None of us quite know what the name means but it seems to pretty much describe who we are, what we do and the sound we make.

We're not sure how to describe our sound, we have been influenced by just about every bit of music each of us has ever heard but we hope we dont sound particularly like anyone else. We call it Crudge, its a kind of rock and roll and you can get a taste by clicking on the Look & Listen menu button of our website. NYC Producer David Kahne describes it as "trashy and raw, like a cross between early Stones and The Clash" and if that's as good as it gets we're happy to settle for that sort of comparison - thank you David !

Feedback of our live shows has been kind. This Autumn we have played or are playing a range of UK universities and music venues. Highlights so far have been +-2000 students at LSE, the best sound ever at The Barfly and topping the bill at The Dublin Castle. Oh, and we also got our first ever crowd surfer somewhere deep in the west Midlands, crazy !!!!!!

A 4 track EP from our debut recordings made with James Towler at Wincraft Music, Steve Winwood's beautiful studio in the Cotswolds, comes out on 15 September, we hope you like it.
