We play 80's and newer Rock and Pop music. Our band was formed by members of different local cover bands. We have all played in the major clubs in the area with our former bands. We designed Pinky and the Nerds with fun and entertainment in mind.
Our set list has been designed using our experience with what songs we know "work" in the area's clubs. We do not play Country or Classic Rock. We are geared towards 80's to current top 40 Rock and Pop music. We dress as our name would suggest. We have a female singer who is "Pinky", and the rest of us dress like Nerds. People seem to have alot of fun with this image.
As part of our show we like to give out glow necklaces, t-shirts, tamborines, and other promotional items for free of course. People love things like that, and we feel this is an area that sets us apart from all of the other bands you see in the area.
We are going to be officially launching our band this October and wanted to get a head start on booking shows (since we know most places book well in advance). We recently heard about your club and would love the chance to become part of your line-up!
