Pink Yard Flamingos

The Pink Yard Flamingos are 16 year old boys, who first got together in the summer of 2004 playing classic and alternative rock cover songs. Although the members of the band are young, they are not strangers to the stage. Starting with local school dances, PYF has progressed to larger venues. The band played at Harrisburg's American Music Festival, Hershey's 2005 New Year's Eve Celebration, the 10th Annual Millenium Music Conference at the Crown Plaza, Harrisburg and many charity events, outdoor fairs and coffee houses. PYF placed second in the 2006 Lebanon Valley College Under 21 Festival's Battle of the Bands and subsequently played live on Harrisburg's HBN Internet Radio Show. The band has written numerous original songs, six of which are on their first CD titled PYF. They have released their second CD titled "Captain's Derringham's Statement" in 2007
