“ The sheer density of the three piece's throbbing Sabbath influenced rock reminds me of Wolfmother, but-based on Pinkzilla's quick as Zeke rips and long instrumental jams (which are the real highlight)- I'd imagine these guys consume way more cheap beer.” -Jason Simms - Willamette Week
“ The recording really has an energetic and loud vibe. There is definitely an early ‘90's sound, but it doesn’t sound dated and the songs are friggin’ good, period. Feedback and wah induced freakouts, will have you, the listener, transfixed. The melodies and jagged chords are a hard habit to shake, beware the Pinkzilla.” -Matthew Tranker - www.stonerrock.com
“An up and coming band that doesn’t care if you give them any attention. But I do! Check these guys out! Spark one up and let Pinkzilla wrap their giant hand around your throat and show you what’s what! ” Chase Smith

Bio
Considering that all of Pinkzilla are a mere 23 years old, this band has been around a LONG fucking time. They began as three friends living in Seaside Oregon and played their first concerts at middle school talent shows. Today, they've all grown to have beards and hang around the bars of Portland, Oregon. As a result of such longevity and no line-up changes, the musical connection between the members has this group sounding exceptionally tight. As the ball first got rolling Pinkzilla played handfuls shows and became a prominent figure in the now long dead music scene of Astoria Oregon, with various jaunts to Portland and other parts of the state. To date, Pinkzilla has roughly 200 live performances in their guts. At first the band played what all young and inexperienced musicians play... anything they actually could. As time went by the music kept getting progressively heavier, with angrier vocals, more technical parts, and lots of amplification. Pinkzilla are three guys from the grey northwestern United States and in their music this shows bright and clear. The band considers just about all heavy NW (not just nw) music to be influential to the sound they create. From classic rock to the heavy bands of the mid-eighties to modern acts in heavy rock are all influential. The future for Pinkzilla is bright. After their large amount of musical experience they are better musicians than ever and with a growing drive to rock out as much as possible, Pinkzilla are a band to watch.
