Francisco Pino a.k.a PinoGrillo is a Cuban-American musician/songwriter who was born and raised Miami (considers himself a neo-guajiro). PinoGrillo's sound is a creative blend of Hip-Hop, Soul, Funk and Afro-Cuban roots music.

As the son of an educator, and the youngest of five brothers, he was introduced to poems, literature, and music that defined both his Cuban and American cultural backgrounds. Inspired by a multitude of writers and musicians, he began to compose poetry and songs.

“I see songwriting as the culmination of the two most fascinating artistic mediums, music and poetry- the music serves as a canvas on which lyrical images can be painted. My objective is to create rhythmic based musical compositions that are accompanied by inspired evocative song lyrics.� -Pino
