"Hear tomorrow's stars this week"

anuary 29, 2008 04:44 PM - The rock just keeps rolling at the Living Arts Centre with the third concert in the Mississauga Stars Series slated for Thursday night.
The bands Whatever Happened to Corduroy, Ryan Masters, Pinto Publico and Please Stand By will perform. The doors open at 6 p.m.
Performing is Pinto Publico, a band consisting of three guys from Glenforest Secondary School. The band, which includes Grant Spooner, Gregory Keefe and Chris Thomas, has a sound that's been described as a blend of Nirvana and Frank Zappa.
Music fans can decide for themselves by visiting www.myspace.com/pintopublico. The band has several tracks available for preview, including Jellyfish Noise Factory, released last year on an album by the same name, Billy Defecates and Marigold's Tea.

Pinto Publico has been years in the making. Grant and Greg met in high school and played in various bands by various names. They went through many different band members and are at a comfortable place with the Pinto Publico line up. Pinto Publico released their first album in 2007 and are now currently working at achieving a fan base and becoming as good as they can be.
