"Reviews From the Street: Hittin' Up the Cellar with Sonic Buffalo, Pi, & The Frisky Disco"

Pi steps up, a neat 3-piece, hotly anticipated, and it's up to 11 from jump. To wax poetic a little bit, watching Pi is a distantly remembered robo-trip, echoing back to front, slo-mo and after-images, before breaking into full-on fever dreams, hot and sweaty and thrashing. These gentlemen are showmen, no doubt, but none more so than Sean on drums; this man is an animal, get him a towel and a drink. Breakneck beats and echo vox keep me roped in from the first song, and when they break those instrumentals down, you wake the fuck up. This kind of psychedelic jam is all the finale you could ask for this evening, and it tears down in fine style, Trent opening his hand in a red gush on his guitar with maybe a song to go. It proves too destructive to continue, and our music has reached its end.

What is Pi's message, you know, for the kids?
- Trent Langley says "Being as loud as possible!"
- Brandon Fawks says "That's a lot of pressure. No wait, do what you love."
- Sean Lochridge says "Noise!" - Fortlive.com

Find out anything about the band is almost impossible , the name pretty bad looking , just because i like his name one ( famous ) German band . So I just found out that this American band was founded in 2010 and its members are Sean Lochridge (drums ) , Trent Langley (guitar , vocals) and Brandon Fawks (bass guitar). So far released three albums - You In Colour, Till the Sun and Ubik . All three albums have beautiful packaging , one of the best I've ever seen. Finally, the (perhaps self-ironic ?) Motto : We make noise . My answer : Fortunately , you do not .

Just out of curiosity - how have fans of sci - fi genre certainly noticed , the album title is also the title of a book by Philip K. Dick. Hard to say if it has any deeper meaning or is it a favorite book , I myself have not read it yet .

Pi playing really well and even keen pace songs prosecute invent refined melodies. The album is an interesting mix of genres - tuned psychedelic guitar parts are wrapped in the garage whirlwind swift and drums when the band leaves breath , an intoxicating melody intersect captivating voice of the singer.

In the initial Unfortunate Son While singing , but the rate of blurring is so high that performs vocals illustrative function. In particular, a playful exhibition drums and guitar , which in this song are complementary , which creates an incredibly energetic song.

Slower Shoelace followed around to calm the audience. Overall it can be to find anything above average , she would be labeled as weak spot plate.

Mania starts quietly , but a moment later he gets going full speed and pulls the listener like a gust of wind. Once you start listening , no choice but to try to keep up. The key in this case is well thought out guitar . Simple , but powerful solo tighten it without problem the whole song , so striking in this case, indicate only the tempo .

But the best in this album hides at the end . The Fool song is mesmerizing . I guess it makes debugging ringing guitars and smooth vocals , backed brumlající bass guitar , hard to say . The slight daze then rescue the listener further honed solo.

In summary , this cake was good. It's a brisk , very melodic and instrumentally conceived. Almost no gray areas . Interesting for the listener is the fact that all creation is a free download. Just wallop .
