"Pipe Dream: Visionaries in Rock"

“Pipe Dream is a music co-op. Interpersonal dynamics are synched with the progression of the composition and focused on making the best tracks possible. Their song “Boston” was a finalist in the 2014 International Songwriting Competition” - Mind Equals Blown

"Pipe Dream’s ‘The Oak’ Full of Pop Gems"

“ A mellow, acoustic guitar-driven song that features the sound of children playing in the background, it’s a great, unpretentious ballad. “Atmosphere” and “Boston” are a little more conventional — the mix of acoustic guitars and lilting vocals make the songs sound a bit like something by the Fray — but the songwriting and singing is solid.”
— Cleveland Scene - Cleveland Scene

"Pipe Dream"

“The EP closes with with ‘Carry Me Back Home’, an epic, anthemic track that is built on the same structure as any stadium filling band might use, yet here Pipe Dream manage to firmly establish their own unique sound on it. The arrangement is as carefully done as can be, pulling back at the right moments, giving the song room to breath, and turning things up just when it’s needed – the gang vocals on the outro are an absolute delight. A worthy contender for that last bit of space left on your iPod.” - Skope Magazine

"Pipe Dream/Sam Brenner/Joshua Robert | Grog Shop"

Recorded locally at Whiteout Audio, Pipe Dream's new EP Horizons shows off the local band's sensitive side. That's apparent right from the start as the opening title track sounds like a Green Day covering a Coldplay tune. The chorus — "I feel nothing at all" — speaks to the song's somber theme. But the music simmers and then soars, making the song into a potent power ballad. The band nicely uses electronic piano in tunes such as "Ghost (Crowds)" and "Castles." For this show, the band will play tunes from this EP as well as tracks from its back catalogue. - Cleveland Scene Magazine
