They’ve been seen throughout 2015 in local venues, as well as in Flagstaff. The band sports an unpretentious vibe and sound. Of all four bands mentioned here, Pipelights sounds the most like Tucson’s brand of desert rock. Yet it’s desert rock with its own groove and sexy female vocals. The music does have a pop rock element, combined with ethereal dynamics, and builds intensely into chord progressions that rock, while staying reasonable and not going to extremes of emo or screamo. Some of Pipelights’ songs are highly instrumental, with vocals that accent and push the emotional vibe of layered music. There’s no cover at Sky Bar, so it’s the perfect opportunity to check Pipelights out in person. - The Tucson Edge
The band didn't set out to capture a particular sound, mostly jamming together and moving forward with whatever felt right, creating a dynamic sound that pulls together strands of art-rock, alternative and psychedelic rock. - Tucson Weekly

Bio
Warm, undulating shadows swim beneath strings of lights wrapped around an exposed industrial pipe, as the ladies of PIPELiGHTS become lost together in a secret language. In room 518 at Pennington Studios in Tucson, Arizona, this is a common occurrence for the indie art rock quartet. From this ravishing female presence, listeners can expect enchanting vocal harmonies intertwined with bass-driven melodic twists and unbreakably dynamic, rhythmic arrangements.
