Piper Perabo

Contrary to popular misconception Piper Perabo is neither a swarthy towel selling sand bird nor the American actress who won our hearts in Rocky & Bullwinkle.

Piper Perabo is an East Coast band with a river running through it.

Forged in the cauldrons of 3-D technology, library science, art and military history, dance instruction and conspiracy theory. They can hotwire a tractor, grow a prize winning zucchini, outdrink most women’s field hockey teams… but are poor at math.

And rock?

Well if love gone wrong, gone yet worse, then gone naked songs are your drug of choice then PP is the best delivery system. They play the rock with hard hands and soft hearts… knowing the pain that comes with early mornings, and the joy that only comes late at night.

They are good with metric.

Wherever people have feet you will find them: strip clubs, retirement homes, feminist rallies, private functions and very, very private functions.

They understand that “Traditional Maritime Music” has little to do with fiddle content and everything to do with the fist in the air… the fire in the heart… the poutine in the stomach.

If you love power chords, power ballads, the power of accordion…
If you hate gentrification, miscarriages of justice, rainy days and Mondays…
If you need a light at the end of the tunnel, a hero to get you to the end of the night, a band to play your backyard BBQ… then shout it out loud: PP! PP!! PP!!!

And remember their mantra: Life may be hard—but rock can be harder.
