Bio
Formed in 2017, Piranha Rama began as a four-piece band with a shared interest in weaving vocal harmonies into vintage soul and psychedelic sounds. As their ideas grew, so did the band, adding a roster of horn players and backing vocalists. With as many as eleven people on stage, their shows pack an energetic punch, often to sold out crowds. They have opened for the likes of Mike Watt, Budos Band, Altin Gün, Jacuzzi Boys, and Butcher Brown, and they headline a hefty share of local events. The size and composition of the band typically fluctuates between five and ten members, resulting in dynamic performances where every song unlocks a hidden surprise! Members: Chrissie Lozano, John Sizemore, Ryan Jones, Tim Falen, Kenneka Cook, Angelica Garcia, Reggie Pace, Gordon Jones, Bob Miller, Kelli Strawbridge, Bonnie Staley.
