Vienna-based DJ Piwo, born and raised in Guatemala, just recently attended the esteemed music, creativity, and technology festival in Barcelona, Sónar. Also, almost concurrently with his outing, Piwo releases his newest seductive track, “Psychic.” Sofia Insua‘s heady vocals of which are undoubtedly a huge part of its potency, with Piwo’s future bass beats being completely on point and upping the mystery quotient considerably in combination.
“Call me your baby, call me your sugar; I have to warn you…When you look at me, I can see the future.” This song is insanely romantic, quick to intoxicate, and will have you feeling sexy, powerful, and ready to move your hips slow and close. Each part of “Psychic” is discernible and purposeful, giving a stripped-down feel to its steady sequence and unabashed siren-like quality. Keep your fingers crossed. Hopefully, Piwo will continue making original tracks such as this one, as this is his first official release but is clear evidence of a unique (and addictive) sound.

Citizen of the world. Born in Guatemala and raised multi-culturally. Moved to Vienna at the age of 18, where he is currently based.
Discovered his passion for electronic music at a very young age. His sound has been influenced by many streams, resulting in a contemporary eclectic sound.
