On the 8th day of July in the year of 1980, I, Jayson Ray was born to the parent of Pastor Fran Johnson. I was born on the Southside of Chicago and raised in Calumet City, Illinois. I am the proud father of 1 son Jayson Ray and married to a beautiful woman of GOD Cassandra Ray. After I graduated from Lincoln’s Challenge Military Academy I joined the United States Navy. I served 8 years with the navy and I have been deployed three times. I separated from the Navy with an honorable discharge in February of 2008. After my service in the military I was battling with alcoholism and I needed the Lord like never before. I then joined True Spirit International Ministries under my Pastors and parents Jason and Fran Johnson. In August of 2009 I accepted the call to preach the gospel of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I began doing Christian rap just a short while after I separated from the Navy. I had no experience in working with music but by the guidance of the Holy Spirit I was able to accomplish what seemed to be impossible to me. I am currently working on getting GOD’s music out to the people who are seeking a relationship with HIM. My motivation to doing this genre of music is saving souls. I have had a pretty rough experience in living out of the will of GOD and I want to share my story with everyone with a spiritual ear to hear. I go by the name P. Kidd a name short for Preachers Kid. Glory be unto GOD for what he has in store for all that is to come from this music by way of the Holy Spirit spoken through my mouth.
