Pláces people is the nom de plume of Brian Joseph Hugelmeyer, an American born songwriter/poet living in Wollongong, Australia. It is an honest solo endeavour, birthed from the loss of his former band, closest friends and the relocation of his family between three countries. In general, a period of profound hurt and confusion. This hurt and loss led to a period of travel and soul searching which became the catalyst for the beginning this new direction in music.
The debut album from pláces people is 'hid & hunted' (4/11).
