Bio

In May of 2004, the trio began performing as a house band at Capone’s Restaurant and Live Jazz Club as well as at Bogart’s Chophouse and Bar as the Alex McKechnie Trio. During this time they began working on their ability to improvise as a group as well as studying composers like Wayne Shorter, Monk, Mingus and Miles Davis. On Aug 2, 2005 they went into the studio at Blue Wave Productions to record Unification.
