Bio
Initially formed back in the early eighties from core members of the pop rock outfit Del Webb Explosion with an aim to create an authentic rock band along the lines of Dexy's Midnight Runners, Southside Johnny & The Asbury Jukes, The Bureau, and Chicago.
The format worked well and Plan B were a major force in the Australian pub rock scene in the early to mid 80’s and the band released several successful singles, had radio and TV airplay and a growing following around Adelaide and the rest of Australia, mainly due to hard work, good music and a punishing touring schedule.
Fast forward to August 2008: due to the wonders of Facebook former members of PlanB Peter Flierl and Patrick Stapleton reconnect. After a long phone call they decided to meet up and discuss the possiblity of "getting the band back together".
With a stated goal of keeping true to the sound and style that propelled PlanB's reputation in the 80's, the band was reformed with 4 original and 4 new members and plans were set in place to embark on the 2009/10 "Southern Delta" tour of South East Asia.
