Planet SB

Planet SB is a group of 7 multi-cultural individuals dedicated to the uprising of real hip-hop. We offer many different styles and outlooks on the music today, hip hop in general. We believe that there is a strong need for music to represent socially conscious issues not cars, jewelry, money, etc. Life is not all about that. Our goal is to put truth back to music. We've played many different shows and venues since our beginning in 1996. As of recent we've opened for Redman, Slick Rick, Ghostface (Wu-Tang), M-1 (Dead Prez), Cage (Hell's Winter Tour), Mr. Lif, Slow Suicide Stimulus, Tame One, Camu Tao, and The Beatnuts. We've played with a lot of local MD acts also such as Power Movement Project, Flawless, Minlus and Mccracken, Brake Fast Records, Rosetta Stoned, Written Prisms, The MacGregor Band, Pasadena, and Bludshot. Venues include: The Ottobar (Baltimore), SONAR (Baltimore), 5 Seasons (Baltimore), Annapolis Music Festival (Annapolis), Piezanos (Annapolis), The Crab Cake Factory (Annapolis), A&R Billiards (Glen Burnie), Fletcher's (Baltimore), The Thunderdome (Baltimore). Were always down for doing shows and we want to hopefully do a lot more and gain some new spots. Were official!! Many promoters always state that we are very professional and can rock a crowd. We have ENERGY on and off stage and you can here it in our music and see it when you see us. On average we are usually able to bring 50-100 if not more people to venues when we perform.
