BandRockAlternative

High energy, very tight, teen band performing original music on a level way beyond their years.

Biography

Formed in Bergen County, New Jersey in September 2007, the band members, who range in age from 14 years old to 17, all met while they were studying at the Paul Green School of Rock Music in South Hackensack, NJ.

Their affiliation with PGSORM has given them the opportunity to open for Peter Frampton, Blues Traveler, Grand Funk Railroad, The Fab Faux, and The Jonas Brothers.

Particularly notable: Drummer, Steve DeNola, has toured with Jon Anderson (Yes), performed at Lollapalooza, and has shared the stage with Carmine Appice (Vanilla Fudge).

In Singer/Songwriter, Corey O'Connell's music you'll hear his influences which include The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, The Foo Fighters and Yes.

Their high energy shows appeal to teens, college students and anyone, of any age, who loves rock music.

Lyrics

Wore Me Out

Written By: Corey O'Connell

You're supposed to fuel my flame, before you burn it out
Your light has lit my way, there is no doubt about
Can you here the words you say, while his hand controls your mouth
Opportunity is all you say, and it's starting to wear me out

You wore me out

Through the years and they have passed, you've seen my face change
You've been given more then the chance, but you still remain the same
Can you see what you've done, you've turned my face away
By the things that you do, and all the things you say

You wore me out

The Ghost

Written By: Corey O'Connell

While the world is always spinning
Keeping my head so confused
Staring out my lonely window
Wondering where I come in use

Out of all of lifes great lessons
Only twenty matter the most
You'd be lucky if you find them
Before you turn into the ghost

Captured in a mirrored image
Where the faces never change
Watching all the special places
You have been and wish to remain

And the day has turned to night now
And you still remain the same
While the world all day was spinning
You have slowly wasted away

You let me down

I Want You to Know

Written By: Corey O'Connell

I can see where we are now
We are close to the shore now
When we get back to solid ground
I want you to know

In your world I can't see how
I have stayed for so long now
See the fire has long since burnt out
I want you to know

I can see where you are now
You are close to the shore now
When you get back to solid ground
I want you to know

Build My Hopes

Written By: Corey O'Connell

You build my hopes so high
You make me believe that I can fly
You told me that I could find a way
But it's untrue untill my mind can say all right

The opportunity has passed me by
The opportunity to let me fly

My hopes were so high

Down

Written By: Corey O'Connell

Why do I have so much affection
Why do I fear so much attention

I feel better when I'm down
I'm so much better when I'm down
You'll like me better when I'm down
I swear I'm better when I'm down

Take me to your life subordination
I can see the grail and two reflections

I feel better when I'm down
I'm so much better when I'm down
You'll like me better when I'm down
I swear I'm better when I'm down

City in the Sun

Written By: Corey O'Connell

In the sun you can see no shame
In the sun you can feel no pain
Untill the rain comes to block the rays
Then you can see the pain and suffering

See the sun it's too bright to take
See the sun it's too bright to take

See the sun in your eyes
See the sun in the skies
See the sun your demise
See the sun

At the dusk things will start to change
To see the truth of what really remains
Without the sun true life shines away
What's behind the sun is shown by the rain

See the sun it's too bright to take
See the sun it's too bright to take

See the sun in your eyes
See the sun in the skies
See the sun your demise
See the sun

Destruction in Your Eyes

Written By: Corey O'Connell

In your eyes I see the plan inside.
It's the place where destruction lies.

I'm the voice inside your head telling you it's all right

In your eyes you see no plan inside
Search for the place where the answers lie

I'm the voice inside your head telling you it's all right

Its all right
