Hot on the heels of the successful launch of the Platinum Girls Magazine and the Platinum Resort, Brisbane Adult Entertainment icon Steven Parrella is venturing into the music industry with the release of Platinum Tunes’ debut single, Ignite My Fantasy.
In collaboration with Subsonic Records, the Brisbane-based Platinum empire is getting ready for an assault on the international market, with Ignite My Fantasy set for release through ToCo International’s many world-wide partners. The Platinum Girls Magazine will be launched in many of these countries in conjunction with the single.
The concept of bringing the two exciting industries together was the brainchild of Stephen Lovchyld at Big World Entertainment who recognised the potential for the Platinum Girls brand to develop itself even further into the ever expanding entertainment industry.
The Platinum Girls business and it’s incredible commercial success is what we were looking for. It was the perfect model with respect to being able to take a quality, established business and greatly expand its potential through music,” Stephen says.
After meeting up with Steve Parrella to discuss the idea we were immediately impressed by this fast thinking entrepreneur. He just has this incredible energy that he puts into everything that he does and his approach to personal and business success is awe inspiring.
He loved the idea and began to instantly develop and improve the concept to include the talents of his whole team
“With the success of the Platinum Girls magazine and the Platinum Resort, we could see that the direction Steven is taking his business suited what we could offer in terms of a musical collaboration, and we’re all extremely excited about the way it has developed.
‘Ignite My Fantasy’, sung by budding songbird and first-time nude model ‘Vanessa’, as featured in the latest edition of Platinum Girls Magazine, and is planned for release in many countries around the world after the Australian launch.
The heart and soul of Platinum Girls, owner Steven Parrella, says they’re blessed to have been given this opportunity to release such an incredibly catchy song, with top 10 potential, as their debut.
“We feel very excited about releasing this song written by Ashley Cadell, one of Australia’s most respected pop songwriters, and we’re expecting our catchy little tune to do really well in the charts!” Steven says.
“And we’re thrilled to have been identified as an exciting and marketable commodity that can really make a successful foray into the music industry.”
And while Platinum Girl Vanessa has done a stellar job with her vocals on the new single, there is plenty more where that came from, with each future edition of the Platinum Girls magazine being the pool from which vocal talent will be identified for each new song release.
Producer of the concept, Subsonic Records Dennis Jones, says that the variety of singers involved in this ongoing, Platinum Tunes process, will be one of its exciting drawcards.
“The girls from each magazine will be invited to audition for the next song, so depending on how much vocal ‘talent’ we have in each magazine, we may have a sole ‘lead vocal’, a duet or a ‘group’ recording, so we’re guaranteed of always producing a different sound,” Dennis says.
This is an exciting move for the Australian music industry as well. We are developing world-class product with local talent (from the singers to the songwriters) and releasing these artists to the overseas markets. The potential for growth here is amazing and we hope to see many of Steve’s girls receive international recognition.

Ignite My Fantasy
He’s the man behind Australia’s next big thing in men’s entertainment – Steven Parrella, along with the Platinum empire, is now making his mark on the music scene, with the launch of Platinum Tunes’ debut single, Ignite My Fantasy.
The lead singer on Ignite My Fantasy is the gorgeous Vanessa, a nude model featured in the March 2005 edition of the Platinum Girls Magazine. Each offering from Platinum Tunes will be voiced solely by ‘talent’ found within the pages of each edition the magazine.
Steven Parrella is 32 years young, entrepreneurial, and was always going to be a success. Having becoming Australia’s youngest Praying Mantis Kung Fu instructor at the age of 16, Steven is no stranger to commitment and passion; something that’s set to serve him well as the Platinum phenomenon branches into music. His multitude of businesses, including the Naughty But Nice adult store chain in Brisbane, have a multi million-dollar turnover, confirming the fact that this young businessman knows how to please the masses!
Steven’s passion over the last 12 months has been the launch, and expansion, of the Platinum Girls Magazine. The infamous Platinum Resort has also become a reality, hosting some of Brisbane’s raunchiest, highest profile parties.
Ignite My Fantasy was written by acclaimed Australian songwriter Ashley Cadell, who has also written songs for Anthony Callea’s album (of Australian Idol fame), and has been prominent in the music industry for over 15 years.
