Platinum, AKA Louis Wallace III, was born March 10, 1982 in Montclair, California, and relocated with his family to Los Angeles, California when he was two years old.Through out his childhood, Platinum avoided most of the complications and negativity of hood life and concentrated on music, which has always been a positive influence in his life. Platinum’s older brother Mike White is a musical genius. A consummate musician, he also writes, arranges, and produces music. Mike has been a big influence on Platinum, teaching him all he knows about music. At 9, Platinum wrote his first rap song and joined a rap group called 781.Realizing the importance of education, he received good marks in school while still performing in local and school talent shows. Platinum welcomed rap battles from anyone, anytime if they had the courage to battle his talents. His street popularity grew.As a teen, Platinum networked and showcased his talent wherever he saw an open mic, in hopes that one day his big break would come. In 1999, he began working on a collaboration with his cousin, Black Diamond that is still circulating in the underground circuit today. Platinum has worked with several hip hop greats, like The Luniz, Bone Thugs, Digital Underground, Outlawz, Ju-L, Danny Boy, and Heart & Soul to name a few. Between himself and Black Diamond, they have amassed a catalogue of over 350 songs to date.His debut album is titled UNDENIABLE; and this talented rapper is just that.
