Playboy Vic

On October 5, 1986 in the great city of East St.Louis, Illinois Victor Robinson a young, special inspiring individual was born. As a youth Victor Robinson stayed active in sports to stay out of the troubles in the streets.
By the age of 8 he would find himself connecting with his older peers to recording on tape decks after school which gave him a name in the neighborhood other than sports. He would rap the same verses to go on in win first place in the school talent shows.
On Christmas of 1995 his father brought him a keyboard which he would learn how to make beats. So he would record numerous songs with his cousin on the weekends. In middle school Victor and his cousin would compete against other groups which he would develop better freestyle and writing skills throughout the battles.
By Ninth grade Victor’s cousin would introduce him to Batz which lived down the street with a studio, they would start recording the up and coming summer. By 2003 Playboy Vic would present the Goldmine Compilation which he pressed up 500 copies to promote at school and at all of his track meets around the nation.
By Playboy Vic’s senior year in high school he had a buzz in the metro area with his hit single [I see her walkin] then he decided to form the group ESAINT which was buzzing on the streets through magazines and word of mouth. Which open up opportunities to be the open up acts for national recording artists Murphy Lee and Chingy at local clubs.
After Playboy Vic graduated from high school he was offered a scholarship in track from Barton County Kansas.
While attending the college Playboy Vic music would surface around campus. His music would be played continuously at parties, pep rallies and other school events. He would perform at the school homecoming giving him confidence out of his music. With different nationalities, races, and backgrounds liking his music. He came up with the thought “I can do it here I could do it anywhere”. Due to financial and scholarship problems he would return home.
Throughout 2006 he would perform at all the clubs and local events to rebuild his buzz stronger. He would land a spot in a national magazine for his name from his grind in the local radar. By 2008 Playboy Vic released his first mixtape album “Cant Deny Vic” hosted and produced super producer by Batz. Which continues to circulate through out the Midwest region.
These days Playboy Vic continues to record songs and performs at clubs and colleges in the Midwest /Southern region .He plans to keep pursuing his business degree at Harris Stowe State University while starting his Goldmine Entertainment record label.
