Want to hear a crazy story called Play For Keeps?

Once upon a time there was four different guys in four different bands. Cameron Dettman (Play For Keeps), Cash Colligan (formerly of The Cab), Brian Jones (formerly of Hitting on Hannah) and Joseph Gilbert (formerly of At Lines End) that somehow became one. but how?

When starting the band, Dettman had been through years of multiple directions and confusions with music. Once Jones came into the picture, one by one everything started falling into place. The two were approached by Colligan prior to joining just to help out the band to get them where he felt they deserved to be. But, time creates change. After departing from The Cab, Colligan flew home to Las Vegas to find what he felt was meant to be. Three days after arriving home he found out that ex-bass player (Jace Stagg) would be leaving the band for a mission to help others in another country. So, one plus one equals two. After a few talks and building a way to make it work, Colligan would join a band that he felt he was made for a few weeks later. The band progressed headlining venues in Las Vegas such as House of Blues but yet again, another problem emerged. Due to personal reasons, ex-drummer Chris Alyx (currently of Air Raid Anthem) would have to walk away from Play For Keeps. After one or two phone calls made to friends there was only one person on the band's mind for a replacement, Joseph Gilbert.

The band has now a solid foundation that will continue to grow. With the first LP out entitled "Goodbye Natural, Hello Manmade," everything can only go up from here.

If you don't know, now you do. This is Play For Keeps. Enjoy.
