A sexual and nasal voice gasping on sharp riffs. It smells like sweat, wild swaggers, leather and alcohol. Between the Rolling Stones and groovy Glam.

1994 is a nervous disco-rock hit. Any resistance is here worthless.

1994 tube disco-rock nerveux. Toute resistance est inutile. - Rolling Stone Magazine

[...] A great combination of the B52's and the Rolling Stones. Dressed for sucess, Playground? Why not... Lead by excentric lead singer/lyricist, dropdead gorgeous, Firouz Farman, and perfectionist guitarist/composer Dino Trifunovic, Playground smells like rock n roll. In record label talk, that would mean that the band got potential. The bashing entrance of these strong headed boys into the French musical landscape is most exciting and might be the beginning of a new rock sound in France.

A pure journey into the swinging London of the 60's. This is exactly what offers this rock group that obviously knows everything about rock n' roll.

[...] Brilliant, crystal-clear serie of songs with a rare elegance.
[...] this excellent first album gives Playground a to-die-for status of a Frenchy Supergrass.

- Rock & Folk

Playground invades the Hexagone with a dirty and sweaty rock n' roll. [...] What's your game looks perfect. [...] You can bet your old 501s and Converse shows on Playground: it's good shit.

[...] What's your game s'annonce imparable. [...] - Rock One

Listening to Playground's first album is quite strange. [...] Nothing to say, impossible to skip any track, whether it's the perfect rock anthem (Performer) or the most instrumental/experimental tune (Rollercoaster), Playground throws in a furious and hard-on disc. Sublime and timeless, Playground rocks!

- Rock Mag

The rock band of the troubadours Firouz Farman and Dino Trifunovic has got some real style. [...] What's your game sounds like a great promise. [...] Something to absolutely listen to, quickly.

[...] What's your game resonne comme une grande promesse. [...] Une galette a ecouter absolument sans tarder. - Batterie Mag
