In early 2011, two musicians met together to collaborate on a fresh project called Playground Tactics.
Lance Robinson is a producer/songwriter/performer who has several releases with his rock outfit Loose Unit who received rave reviews throughout 2009-10. In the past Lance has worked with artist's such as; Birds Of Tokyo, Mumford and Sons, Karnivool.
Vocalist Germaine Jones had just returned from LA which saw her performing at various Hollywood clubs, festivals and featuring on the 2010 Ministry of Sound cd.
Lance and Germaine discovered a chemistry in songwriting on the first night they met. Both drawing from influences such as The Divinyls, Van She, Ladyhawke and Regurgitator to come up with a list of fresh tracks with alternative/commercial appeal.
All songs are written and recorded on all instruments by Lance. Live he takes on the role of guitarist/keyboardist whilst Germaine is on vocals. The rest of the band consist of some of Perth's finest musicians which results in an explosive rock show.
