As the world took a pause for 18 months in 2020, Norwich-based PleasureInc's inception was almost inevitable. Locked away in rural England with nothing to do but watch films, play music and chat shit; Louis and Jesse Baker diverted from their then-current musical projects to follow a more modern creative direction. Seamlessly fusing elements of hip hop, indie and jazz with a natural affinity for pop hooks, their fresh brand of alt pop was established, delivered with a playful style rooted in their brotherly chemistry.

It was a love of great cinema, fashion and contemporary hip hop storytellers like Tyler, The Creator and Slowthai that inspired the duo to channel their work through alter egos Jonny Silver and Kenny Pleasures. Liberated by their newfound creative freedom, the duo began exploring the fine line between fantasy and reality in today's internet-based age, a theme that runs deep within both their music and visual content.

This is articulated on debut single 'Money Talks', a tongue in cheek commentary on peoples' obsession with materialism and constant communication. Set to a musical backdrop pulling elements of The Strokes, Blur and Galliano, the song perfectly exemplifies PleasureInc's modern take on guitar music, and exploration of humankind's pursuit of pleasure.
