Pleasure Loves Company is a Jackson Pollok painting of music, mixing elements of folk, blues, bluegrass, alt. country, and of course indie rock to create something enjoyable and pleasurable for the ears. Good for men, women, and children of all ages.

Biography

The story of Pleasure's music starts back about two years ago, but didn't come full circle until about a year ago when the founding members; Kevin Hale and Tanner Jones, joined two men named Jonathan Isenhower and Seth Newman for coffee. All from bands of different genres with one love and that being mixing styles. They went quickly to work writing what was to become their first EP, The Willows.
The Willows was a complete mixture of folk, blues, and bluegrass. Shortly after that they decided they wanted to expand even more adding elements of alt. country and indie rock. Two more members emerged from those jams. "The Andies", Andy Gyger and Andy Clem. The two also added there own mixture of jam rock.
Our influences as a whole band are The Avett Brothers, Old Crow Medicine Show, Mumford and Sons, The Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, The Black Keys, Damien Rice, Johnny Cash, The Eels, The Flaming Lips, Lily Allen, Modest Mouse, Anything Ryan Adams, David Bowie, Arcade Fire, Queens of the Stone Age, Alice In Chains, Stone Temple Pilots, Bright Eyes, Bob Dylan, and Elliott Smith.
We do, however, as individuals have other influences for example Seth loves anything and everything Blues, "The Andies" love Phish, and Tanner enjoys singer/songwriter tunes.

What sets us apart from every other band is our wide tastes in music and the fact that we can adapt to changing styles mid song. We also love doing different variations of our songs.
