"Kings of A and R"

Electronic indie rock. For fans of The Killers, Radiohead and Pink Floyd. Ranging from danceable electronic pop to slightly more ambient and intense rock, The Pleasure Technicians latest release Euthanasia Daydream, released in August, has already strongly impacted radio, charting in the top 30 on the National Specialty charts for more than 3 weeks. Recently coming off a tour with Shade, The Pleasure Technicians received rave reviews nationwide - www.kingsofar.com

"Face Magazine"

“Euthanasia Daydream’s four wheels support performance and capability. The range of emotion and sound exploration on these four tracks places Pleasure Technicians in the cradle of the post-electronica movement and on the treetops of indie rock. The lullabies offer soothing sentiments with sassy political undertones over structured guitar riffs and sturdy bass lines. The sound is as organic as it is produced” - Yori Dice

Pleasure Technicians (unsigned), from Pittsburgh. Pretty much the most amazing thing to come across my desk in a long time, Pittsburgh's Pleasure
Technicians take what The Killers lead with, throw in some sonic vibes ala Radiohead & create their own masterpiece. Emphasis tracks, "Sly Move" &
"Everything Breaks" are impacting National Specialty.......... Find a copy of their EP NOW so you can say you had it way back when.
I'm dead serious…….. "Radio embraced this band in a big way during a time when "the machine" was in full swing. I see HUGE things on the horizon for this band!"
- Liz Koch

Bio

Pleasure Technicians produce melody and emotion through the use of technology in an electronic, yet organic combination of music that never strays too far from the straight ahead rock and roll sensibility that drives the band. Their live shows incorporate floor-shaking drum beats and experimental sound explorations, which lead their way into the fragile security of structured songs.

Pleasure Technicians' first E.P., Euthanasia
Daydream, self-released in May 2004, captures their sound and places them in a post-punk-electronica movement while maintaining a distict life of its own.

songs from this E.P. can be heard on upcoming episodes of the following MTV shows:
The Real World
Road Rules
Inferno
