Plinio

Plinio was Born in Manhattan, N.Y.C. in 1986 and moved to Yonkers N.Y. at the age of 2. By the age of 9 Plinio was already dabbling in poetry and writing stories. At 11 years old, while searching for tapes to listen to from his brother's shoe box, Plinio discovered and heard Nas for my first time, shortly after that, he realized that he could also take his poetry and put into flowing lyrics on to beats. By age 13 Plinio was filling notebooks with lyrics and battling emcees.

Plinio gained some local recognition and with much excitement and hopes, begged his peers to record some of his songs, he soon learned that people were not so willing to help out. By 15 he self taught and learned everything he needed to learn about recording in order to produce his own beats and engineer his own recording session. He quickly became more popular, helping others to achieve their dreams and hoping to one day achieve his goals.

Early 2012, Plinio was supposed to meet with artist manager Chris Lighty, that same day he found out about the tragic death of Chris Lighty. At that moment Plinio’s dreams were shattered and concluded the industry was not meant to be for him. Plinio decided to change his outlook on life, making positive changes to his personal life, also deciding to abandon his passions.

However, late 2012 he received a phone call from one of his sister’s, lifting his spirits and joining hands as founder’s and partners of Tru Revolutio Music Group. His sister also manages Plinio the artist. The siblings have some great plans. She mentions that, “Timing is everything, this is Plinio’s time, Plinio is an extremely talented artist with a lot to offer, joining the industry at a time where artist from all backgrounds are working together for a better future, Plinio looks forward to great collaborations and helping those talents in need.” Plinio is an artist, a writer, producer, engineer & Chairman of Tru Revolutio Music Group Inc..
