Bio

Hailing from different lifestyles, hometowns, and musical backgrounds; The group known as Plott has developed into a cross genre band, combining elements of a energetic, intimate live performance with that of a intriguing, and uncommon sound from their music.

Having mixed multiple genres, ranging from southern variations of punk, and folk music, to goth and grunge music elements, Plott performs at a caliber all their own. The talents involved in the project, are both old veterans, and new musicians, as well.

Kyle Tortorella (prior to Plott) played in a band called Lady And The Tramps. With his old outfit, he found himself performing a few shows, and developing himself musically. He keeps up a solo project from time to time, and has released one album, "Apathy", in May of 2009.

Marisa Mustard is a local popularity, with a lot of solo experience under her belt, she understands the role of a front for a band, and knows how to both interest and entertain her audience, no matter the performance. Her folky guitar melodies, and smooth, sweet voice bring a special element to an already special band.

Nick Brown has played in genres over the past few years ranging from standard rock, to jazz, to metal, and beyond. He understands very clearly how to perform not only as a drummer, but also as a wonderful singer. Having played in a local favorite, known as SecondSuns, he also gathers with him, a slight bit of the hometown fanbase, of Athens, GA.

Ana Colon has been playing bass in bands over the past few years, and has definitely proven by her dark, bluesy style, that she's a force not to be underestimated. She has a habit of making her crowd want more, as well as giving them an above adequate performance.

Madison Silva, the newest face on the music scene in Athens, has been playing upright bass for a long while on her own. Having a talented use of her vocal chords, she presents a new vibe to an age-old music tradition.

The combination of these five performers creates the personality that is Plott. Combining rough, in your face, guitar leads combined with melodic, memorable rhythms. Plott is a band you won't want to avoid.
