Bio
plug-in city's early live shows and recordings revealed post-disco tunes, with vocal hooks and clangy guitars squaring off while sequences whirled beneath.
in its more recent incarnation the band has incorporated a broader palette of musical styles, incorporating elements of 60's pop, gospel, psych, electronica, ambient, prog, indie and grunge. the result is a more introspective yet confident synthesis of different sounds and time signatures that represents a maturation of the band's early work.
Plug-in city has played with Daft Punk, The Presets, Cut Copy, Datarock, Gerling, the Juan McLean, Uffie, Damn Arms and was part of the 2008 V Festival.
