PlumnelleMoon

PlumNelle is a group of musicians that are very diverse within themselves. They consist of five musicians who all have a completely different style of musical background. In the end it works out well and really adds intensity to improv jams and live shows. "We enjoy playing with each other because its so freeing and musically challenging to stream in and out of genres." ~Benjie West. The band is very creative in their ways of writing, and expressing what is going on live and in the moment.

Lead guitarist and vocalist Benjie West, met Jaden Dean while at school at Valdosta State. Not even a month later, they moved in with each other while performing in different groups. Cranford Ave. in Valdosta was a great college neighborhood which brought lead singer Jen Anders to join us. “We met in the road, cause she lived across the street with guitars in hand..we picked a porch and started playing...and we have worked with each other ever since."~Jen Anders. Ben and Jen did a lot of early Plumnelle writings in this moment in time. (2006) After a couple years of getting the feel for each other as friends and musicians we ended up coming together pretty solid. Dustin Lehman joined us shortly after on 4-20-2008 after an audition show.. “He was so solid, (he)didn't really try to impress us with crazy beats.. He just stayed with us and let the music roll.. since then he has held down the house with progressive beats that are just to natural for words”-Jaden Dean. Brady Carrington was the last addition to Plumnelle Moon joining in early 2009. His music knowledge and passion has been a great push for the musicianship and the drive. “He is very diverse when it comes to playing, but he just digs jazz to a point of addiction"~Benjie West. He has been a great adittion for Plumnelle Moon in charater and musicianship. He enjoys the energy and the shared passion which keeps us so up beat about doing what we enjoy.”-Jen Anders.
