Feeling a bit camera shy

Plusminus X is composed of experienced, driven musicians who sincerely enjoy writing music and performing live, which is evident by the energy delivered each and every performance, resulting in a very loyal fan base. Plusminus X’s music is rock/hard rock that spawned from the various musical tastes that each band member possesses.

Each song is identifiable by its use of well balanced heavy guitars, pounding bass, classical acoustic guitar, melodic vocals and aggressive harmonies. Both Lyrics and Music are written with passion, conviction and ferocity, giving their songs a fresh welcoming approach.

Born in Poland and raised in Windsor, Ontario, Canada, brothers Peter and Martin Bak have been playing music together since the age of twelve. With the addition of guitarist Jim O’Neil, and their third brother, Patrick Bak on the bass, they began writing their own music. It wasn’t until vocalist Justin Forsyth arrived on the scene, they realized which musical direction they wanted to pursue. In late January 2005, the lineup was complete and Plusminus X was finally formed. Newly inspired and re-energized, the band began writing and recording out of their home-based studio (SLR Studios). After three months of writing, the band took all of their emotions, influences and brought them to life in their first EP aptly titled "Natural Process".

Studying the art of music production and recording, and acquiring a keen knowledge in that area, they wrote, produced and recorded their first full length CD containing 13 new tracks. Plusminus X released "State of Mind" March 10th, 2006, producing their first milestone…Management Representation from Vancouver, B.C.
