P N O E T I C A
The group was formed in the spring of 2007 by Panayotis Tellis, saxophone, flute and vocals, Adam Sotiropoulos, electric guitar, Efthimis Sfairopoulos, bass, and Kostas Dimitriou on drums.
The material the group play is from traditional, Byzantine and popular Greek music, while at the same time being based on all types of modern music of the 20th century, such as Jazz, Funk, Rock, Blues, Latin etc. The group perform their own compositions as well as original cover versions of traditional and popular tunes.
Since 2010 Pnoetica have appeared with guest musicians: Hectoras Mercouris on trombone, Sakis Laios on keyboards and Sofia Exarhou on vocals.
