- Boys (Band) To Men Blog (French)
Pob's gone a bit sinister with his crashing drums, melancholy synth sounds and jerky stop start sound effects - it creates an almost gothic-electro vibe that explodes into a soaring chorus with spoken London Boys/Pet Shop Boys type spoken vocals playing off against the vocal melody. Lyrically it taps into that universal need to feel wanted and loved and closer to that special person; musically it's another facet to the development of Pob the pop star and possibly his most intriguing yet. I fully approve and can't wait for his live shows... - Fizzy Pop Music Blog
Having experience running electro/dubstep nights in the past, he wants to blend catchy pop riffs with dubstep production to create an edgier sound that can be enjoyed by many whilst not claiming it to be a pure dub-step sound. - PopLedge Music Blog
This cute Brit is a new singer trying to break through in the music biz. He only has two tracks out so far, but according to his Youtube channel, new music is on the way later this month. What he does have out so far is quite enjoyable. Let me introduce you to Pob.
"Shout It Out Loud" is a very upbeat and poppy track that fits right in with the current state of pop music. He has a nice voice and great production backing. His second song, "I'm The One" is a bit less up beat and a tad more dark, showing two vastly different directions he could go in.
Having so few songs out makes him hard to pin. I certainly want more, but only time will tell if he is going to be a break out star. Why feature him on this section if things seem risky? Because what he does have out so far is great and refreshing. - Taking Over The Universe Blog
Brit 'lectropopper POB has some really promising demos, both production-wise and in the hook capacity. Hype single "Shout It Out Loud" is an early favorite of mine in terms of commercial sound, but the slightly more relaxed "I'm The One" is perfect for the dance/trance crowd. - Melismatic Blog
Good beats, some funky synths and a chorus that'll get stuck in your head quite easily, this is definitely a sign that we should keep our eyes on POB. - EQ Music Blog
