Howard “Poetik Justyce” White, was born on December 27th, 1984 in Prince George’s County, Maryland. Howard began rapping at the age of 10 years old, listening to his inspirations from Common Sense, to The Fugees, and Ludacris. At the age of 16, Howard worked hard to get enough money to record his first demo which according to him was not successful, and this only motivated him to practice more. In 2003, Howard began getting noticed with his first hit song, ‘They Shall Fall’, which was performed at the Ark of Safety Christian Church during their New Year’s celebration in Oxon Hill, MD. Despite struggling to find jobs, and gain a foundation in his new adult living, Howard continued with much endurance and persistence to continue chasing his dream and in 2004 released his debut album, ‘A New Day’. With an extremely low budget and with his first ever distribution deal with Get Real Entertainment, Howard’s singles, ‘Souljahs’, ‘A New Day’, and ‘My Desire’, were creating a lot of buzz worldwide with Howard’s songs playing on independent radio stations from California, to Switzerland, even in Australia. His album received a lot of excellent reviews and positive feedback, in which Howard continued to search ways to stand out of the crowd and create a new movement in the music industry. In beginning of 2009, after the passing of Howard’s father, Howard finally found that way. With the help of a friend, Howard began to resurrect Hip Hop with the style of rap today, and with a touch of neo soul. As a result, Howard began creating a style that is new, different, and at the same time builds and uplifts the inner soul of any person that listens. Howard completed is second album called, ‘Before’, which features a few extremely talented yet unheard of artists as Howard hopes to achieve his vision to expose the hidden talents that DC has to share with the world. ‘Before’, is a much anticipated gospel rap album in the DC area that is going to change not only gospel, but the music industry all together, and Howard is always working hard to better his craft in hopes of a label that will give him an opportunity to shine.
