Bio

With a wealth of talent and experience they hit the ground running straight away with an album worth of show stopping songs in the first 6 months and critical acclaim from local industry professionals. Crowd comments to name a few : “outstanding!”, “awesome!”, “best band I’ve seen since Thin Lizzy!”, “Classic, yet so original!”, “You kicked some serious ass!”. The most common being “Why aren’t you signed!” and definitely the funniest, “You made my mouth dry and my testicles quicker when you played that last song!”. Each to his own!

The band have had much success already in a short space of time. The “Night Skies” demo spent 9 weeks at number 1 on an internet rock radio station when it was released. Followed by “Change Tomorrow” holding number 1 for 5 weeks! They have a video and new single in the pipeline for “Ashes”. This is a bold metal masterpiece with a great hooky chorus and riff. They are currently planning a European support tour for 2010 with some festival dates being planned as well. Watch this space!

They have entranced audiences at venues up and down the country including, “The Purple Turtle” – London, “The Roadhouse” – Birmingham, “The Corporation” – Sheffield, “Bucks New Uni” – High Wycombe, “The Old Wharf” – Birmingham, “The Diamond” – Mansfield, “The Varsity” – Wolverhampton, “The Old Bell Inn” – Derby, “The Queens Hall” – Nuneaton, “Eddies” – Birmingham, “Costermongers” – Birmingham, “The Nags Head” – High Wycombe, “Route 44” – Birmingham, “Actress and Bishop” – Birmingham, “The Bridgehouse” – London.

These guys were all born to be on the stage and have proved it time and time again in their previous bands. Rob Deconte (Vocals), Dani Appelby (Lead Guitar) and Daniel Bate (Bass Guitar) all came from the band “Sweet Seduction”. They were heralded as one of the top 5 new bands in the UK by Kerrang magazine. Quite rightly as they had a stage presence that meant you knew when the band had arrived! They had a strong fan base and constantly toured until they realized that the chemistry was not quite right. They went out with a bang with one of their last gigs being a festival date with “The Scorpions” and the “Michael Schenker Group”.

Dale Jones (Lead Guitar, Bkg Vocals) is an accomplished singer/songwriter/guitarist and more than proved that in his 3 piece solo outfit “Black Wednesday”. The band had a great deal of success and had some outstanding songs. Highlights include playing and touring with “American Dog”, “Graham Bonnet”, “Wishbone Ash”. Unfortunately luck was not on their side so Dale set about looking for another project.

Simular story for Russell Holt (Drums) from his band “Creeper”. They had an underground following that had developed into something quite special, but like many bands… Their drive and commitment did match Russ’s so he looked for something else. In the summer of 2008 “Point Blank Fury” were formed! The rest as they say is history!.

Time for them to write future history by following in the footsteps of their heroes “Guns ’n’ Roses”, “Black Sabbath”, “Metallica”, “Skid Row”, etc…

Rock and Roll for the new Generation!
