Bio
Point of Fire, a band with a classic rock based sound from Champaign, IL was founded by guitarist Yossi Reuven in the winter of 2007. Soon, he was joined by drummer and solo artist J. S. Ogle from Rantoul, IL and lead guitarist Mike Hall of Champaign. By the summer of 2008, the band was joined by vocalist Peg Miller and bassist Andy Burnett and the line-up was complete.
The band has been in the studio working on their debut packet that is marketed through Myspace, www.myspace.com/pointoffire and Golden Rock Studio Productions (www.goldenrockstudioproctions.com) owned by J. S. Ogle..
Influences include Pink Floyd, Rush, Porcupine Tree, Journey and others.
We offer a strong alternative to the heavily overpopulated screamo sound and target a wide audience range.
