Points Biography

Points "That Ni*** That Sh** Poppin' " A phrase which spawned a wave of infectious tunes in the New York Underground Hip-hop circuit in 2003, when releasing his first tangible project DEMO/MIXTAPE Vol. 1 & 2 From 149Th St., 3rd Ave in The Bronx and back to his old stomping ground on 111 St. 7Th Av in Harlem. Since early onSkylar "Points" Williams dreamed of becoming a Hip-Hop artist. Writing lyrics since the age of 14, inspired by the music of Tupac Shakur. He started out by recording himself onto Cassette Tapes, when they were DJ's weapons of choice in the late 90's. Using only two speakers and a stereo to record himself, one as the background music, particularly by DJ Chill Will Instrumetals cassette and the other as a microphone. The exposure he received from his peers led him team up with like mind individuals. In the summer of 1999 he met Hari a/k/a Dirty Hari and now known as H dirt, out in Washington Ave 182 St. in The Bronx and recorded his first mixtape 4ever Theory. But it was more than 2 years later he relinked up with DirtyHari which solidified his dreams of pursuing a music career. Since then, Points has release a slew of singles, mixtapes, videos, documentaries, interviews, and you name it. It's just a matter of time that Points makes it into the big leagues.
