"It perfectly shows off their ability to thump and jump, whilst never losing sight of important elements, such as melody and a tidy chorus." - THERECOMMENDER.NET
"While they definitely seem to have drawn their influences from a bunch of different places, I think they’ve really got a sound all their own." - DAILYBEATZ.COM
"Their sound is truly unique, pulling from a heck of a lot influences like Deadmau5/LCD Soundsystem/Digitalism/Soulwax/Yeah Yeah Yeah’s and spitting it all out in a mash of new sound – this is music at it’s most exciting!" - THEMUSICNINJA.COM
"They do everything, and they do it well. And very very loudly." - MTVIGGY.COM
"It’s going to be a successful one if they keep it up like this." - MUSIGH.COM
With no debut album out and only, oh, a month of Tweeting under its belt, Argentina quartet Polen has still managed to woo the most discriminating ears worldwide.

Probably because the four EPs circulating the web sound like a mix of jarring Daft Punky house; chopped up and re-sequinced electro pop; and ear-splitting, guitar-shredding electro rock.
Not to mention that they clearly know how to dress. And lean over. So naturally, everyone is fascinated. They do everything, and they do it well. And very very loudly.
The genre-hopping group is about to tour Europe, and down the line, I predict they’ll dropping tracks for the (God forbid) Tron: Legacy sequel.
Check out their latest single “Drop the Line”. - MTV IGGY

Bio
Electro Rock band composed by five pieces from Buenos Aires, Argentina. Polen stands up with a new trend of live act full of energy, a fusion between loud guitars and strong synths which makes us compare them with bands like Soulwax, Digitalism, Does it Offend you, yeah? among others.
Polen is formed by Pol Goz (lead vocals, guitar, synth), Ivana Lapolla (bass guitar, drums) Carla Nastri (programming, synth), Sebastian Reinholz (drums, bass guitar) and Raining TV (visuals). They perform sporadically since 2008 at the hottest parties in Buenos Aires, like the well known "LRSFCKDP!" and some branded events like "Ray Ban Arts" and "Puma Urban Art".
With their own independent 4 EPs: "Metamorphy" (2008), "Compressor" (2009), "EP10" (2010) and their promo EP called "White Light EP", the band is planning their first european tour between May and July 2011 where they will be performing at some festivals such as THE 1234 SHoreditch, Camden Crawl, Secret Garden Party (TBC).
