Following a first CD launched in '07(EP), a first LP in october '09, POLIPE offered amazing performances - more than 100 concerts on Quebec's ground. This power trio offering highly original and energic rock soaked in 70's colors is now ready to take the world by surprise!

The three members of POLIPE - Antoine (bass, vocals), Francis (guitar, vocals), and Pierre-Luc (drums), born in St-Antoine-de-Tilly, near Quebec City, is a rock band singing in French. Free and eclectic creations mixed with high voltage energy bring the band’s music into unique party atmosphere.

POLIPE has been highly inspired by british bands, and their influence of the music from the 60’s and the 70’s can be heard in their songs, enhanced with innovative, modern sounds. Part of the Montreal local scene, the band delivers daring and rousing pop-rock melodies.

Following the release of their first opus, EP in February ‘07, POLIPE made an amazing series of concerts in La Belle Province, opening for Navet Confit in his 2007 spring tour.

In early 2009, Polipe signs with GSI musique/La Confiserie which allows them to record their first LP 'Tropiques du Cancer' during summertime(released in october 2009) with producer Cristobal Tapia de Veer(One ton, Bran Van 3000, Jason Bajada...). Months following this release, Polipe still gets enthousiastic reviews in both language(french/english- it never been an issue...) and have been nominated for 'Le Grand Prix de la Relève Archambault' for their album.

Beside that, the three fellows toured across Quebec three times-more than 100 shows- has made the top charts of local radio stations and took part to prestigious music festivals, such as Les Francofolies de Montréal, Pop Montréal, Coup de coeur francophone, Vue sur la relève (among others), has opened for Malajube, Antoine Gratton, Creature, Les Breastfeeders, Gatineau and others.

They're now ready to flash overseas!
