Feeling a bit camera shy

Denver phenomenon, Polytoxic, is the ultimate excuse to go out on a school night. Incorporating soulful vocals, powerful drum lines and floating keys into their original material; this band provides the perfect springboard for improvised performances leading into a dance frenzy.

Polytoxic is making waves in Denver and beyond with no stopping in sight. In July they received the Westword Music Showcase award for “Best Jam/Improv band in Denver”, and have shared the stage with people like Bernie Worrell, Eric McFadden, Pnut Daniels, Leo Nocentelli, and Col Bruce. In November they opened for Umphrey's McGee at the Fillmore Auditorium in Denver, and two weeks later performed The Last Waltz with 30 guest musicians to a sell-out crowd at Cervante's masterpiece Ballroom. In just a few short months Polytoxic has established themselves as the driving force in the Denver music community.

The three music veterans who have kicked, clawed and scratched their ways through the trenches over the years in the always-tumultuous music industry now find themselves together in Polytoxic. This is a band that has no rules, no boundaries, and no doubts that their music can get the people moving. Improvisation is what keeps these three interested in playing together, so you’ll never see a song played the same way twice, and every show is guaranteed to be different. You’ve got to see it to believe it.
