Pom Oak is a Piano driven project, lead by piano player, song writer, and vocalist, Sean Brody. His 13 song debut album, "Conditions Of Optimism" was produced by 7x Grammy Winner Brian Chirlo. Pom Oak's music uses an array of influences from Modern pop, Jazz, Rap, Motown and R&B to drive home its super catchy hooks and its overall positive vibe.
Pom Oak is performing live for fans along the east coast, most recently focusing on the NYC and metropolitan area.
The band started at the beginning of 2015 under the name "The Weekenders". After releasing their first EP, they signed a publishing deal with CDF records for their single, "Save Your Breath". After experiencing some growing pains, a new sound and image was created, lead by Sean Brody. With that decision came the name change to Pom Oak. It serves a small tribute to the small town he comes from, where it great Oak tree grows.
Pom Oak has recently performed on the Camplified Tour, at the State Fair Meadowlands, Mexicali Live, Gramacy Theater, BBKings, The Stone Pony, The Bitter End, Pianos, GP's, The Starland Ballroom, and at a sold out Webster Hall with The Spill Canvas. They are looking forward to sharing the new music with everybody and are booking for 2018-2019 right now!
