Bio

Pony Asteroid is a German-Peruvian alternative band founded by Rainer Fahrion.

After being support act for British band Placebo, they were asked to work on their debut Album by several producers. They chose Miami Grammy Award-Winning producer Reuven Amiel to do this job.

“I was amazed after seeing Pony Asteroid opening for Placebo. The way the crowd reacted to their songs was impressively strong and wild. I was interested in working with them, because I think they can influence the next generation of Rock Music.”
 Reuven Amiel

Pony Asteroid has been performing in Europe over the las 5 years until arriving in Peru.
They loved the energy over there and that's why they chose the country for filming their debut Videos.

The lyrics are spiritual, political and moral statements mixed with a touch of intimacy.

Having played the biggest Rock Festival in Turkey, the "Zeytinli Rock Festivali", touring  Italy and plenty of clubs, festivals and pubs in Germany, having had their first show in the Amazon Jungle last year, playing radio and tv shows in Europe and South America, etc. has given the band a very eclectic view of the world and lots of ideas they want to express on their upcoming videos, albums and performances.

PRESS:

The combination of arena rock riffs with a blend of electronic sounds is perfect when Pony Asteroid sets foot on stage. More than just another alternative rock band, Pony Asteroid is a statement. Their unique presence and energy is best witnessed right there when it’s happening.

Having supported Placebo, being aired on german radio stations and currently working on their debut album with Grammy Award-Winning producer Reuven Amiel in Miami, this band is surely something not to miss.

CURIOSITIES:
