Born in 2003 of MIDI tracks and dreams, Pop Fiction is moving to define its own genre. Synthesized melodies on bass, guitars that sound like synthesizers, synthesizers that sound like, well, synthesizers. In a digital world, this is the soundtrack. When a song is created digitally and then it matures on analog instruments with analog hands, it develops a unique, complicated feel, somehow without all the extra fluff you get with songwriting that tries to be complicated.
