"The new Idol"

This sounds like Billy Idol when he was younger, when he was intresting. This is really really good. Nice effects and well performed. I like both the bridge and the hook in this song. You have managed to put together a good song that is well written both in lyrics and in music. I like the effect on the vocals, that and the keyboard makes the sound intresting and original. - None

""YOUR EYES BURN""

This song tuned me in right at the start.
These are some of the best lyrics I've heard for quite a while. The song has a nice slow build up for the first minute. After that the song picks up and has a nice chord progression on the synth/keyboard. Great Production.
I wouldn't change the vocals at all! This song gets 5 stars because it gave me the willies! - None

"ULTIMATUM gets better every second"

Wo, that starts like some new wave song, with the same "ater" and "ator" rhymes. Simple very engaging song, as good as any late Jesus & Mary Chain song, but with the powerfull addition of clapz, which is so great. Discreetly, that song shows estonishing quality and originality. Bells, harpsychord, electronica, everything done in a rock'n'roll engaging way. Better and better, reminds me a little of Primal Scream. - GarageBand (Palau, Channel Islands)

Bio

PopiKoK was formed through the genius insanity of singer/songwriter Michael Satro with only one thing in mind -- to create intelligent guitar driven music with cutting edge dance beats that you will FEEL.

Their songs ("Ultimatum" and "Your Eyes Burn") have appeared in the feature film Blast! (2005) and eleven of their tracks in FashionTV's episodic Shoot Me! (2005/2006). Along with having "Sister" win VH1's Song of The Year Award for the month of April (2005), their music have also been featured on Nic Harcourt's Morning Becomes Eclectic radio show on KCRW (Los Angeles) and have topped the charts on numerous indie music sites for weeks running.

Backed by Jesse Charland (bass), Dylan Charbeneau (keyboards/synth), Zoltron (guitars), and Stefano Trampetti (drums/percussion), they have played the House of Blues Sunset, The Whiskey, The Viper Room, Avalon Hollywood, Key Club, and almost all the other great hot spots in their hometown of Los Angeles.

Currently, PopiKoK is working to bring forth THE FIVE SENSES -- a monthly event that will bring back and combine the hands-on feel of a great concert and the awe-inspiring sensation of brilliant performance theatre into an experience that is beyond both.
