Bio

Performing well over 280 shows annually since 1998 including the Van's Warped Tour, its easy to see why this high energy Pennsylvania band is the monster act at the Nation's largest nightclub and #1 Spring Break location, Club LaVela/Panama City Beach, Florida. Poptart Monkeys have lifted eyebrows and connected with a thriving fan base, evident by the packed venues throughout the Nation! With the passage of time, peoples curiosity over the band's early controversy involving a breakfast food giant has been replaced by the realization that the Poptart Monkeys deliver one of the best stage shows on the scene today.

The Poptart Monkeys' wild and crazy antics on and off stage place them in a musical class all their own. The Pennsylvania-based band successfully mixes comedy with clever musicianship. So, what's the result of Comedy Central meets MTV? Simply put, a high-energy modern rock show that pulls out all stops and keeps audience members on the edge of their seats. Since its formation, the band has added numerous national performances to its musical resume, including performing on The "Warped Tour" in 2001 and 2002 and "MTV Spring Break" in March 2002 at Club LaVela in Panama City Beach, Florida where they performed to a crowd of thousands, as well as shows with 3 Doors Down, Collective Soul, Saliva, Sum 41, SR-71, Bowling for Soup, Reel Big Fish, Bret Michaels, Stereomud, Course Of Nature, Breaking Benjamin, Lifer, Quiet Riot and The Tubes.

Their 5th release "Count To Zero", a title based around the idea that in order for new life to begin, there must first be an end to the old and a beginning to the new, is set to hit stores in November and is being produced by John Ryan, multi-platinum producer (Styx,Santana, Annimotion). They were voted rollingstone.com band of the month and came in 3rd place as Band of the year, and were also chosen as one of Jim Beam's Emerging Artist of the Year. They were voted PAs #1 band by a poll on parocks.com and hbgonline.com, and are Currently Endorsed or Sponsored by Budweiser,Shure Electronics, Ernie Ball Guitar Strings, Vador and Pearl Percussion, Eminence Speakers and Vagenius Clothing. This band is on the rise and has a fan base that continues to grow, truly a band you dont want to miss.
