Bio

I, Porscha Coleman, am a multi-talented up and coming true triple threat, who was blessed with the ability to sing, dance, act, and have entertained audiences for over 15 years now. I attend Millikan Middle School for Performing Arts in Sherman Oaks, California, and I’m trained in all forms of dance and vocal stylings. I continued my training by attending Hollywood High School of Performing Arts in Hollywood, California in 1999. One of my biggest television highlights came in 2001, a day after my 16th birthday, when I sang live to Jennifer Lopes’ hit song, “Waiting for Tonight” on the hit show, “The Great Pretenders” on Fox Family Channel. I won 1st place and retained various prizes as the karaoke winner. Shortly after, I auditioned and was chosen to become a LA Sparkid dancer, performing at The Staples Center during home games for the WNBA’s, Los Angeles Sparks.

As an actor in 2003, I booked a guest starring role on the hit television show, “The Parkers,” alongside Mo’Nique and would grace two episodes of the UPN show. That same year, I booked a lead role in the Disney Channel Original Movie “Pixel Perfect,” playing an earthy singer and lead guitarist for the films popular all girl rock/pop band. Then in 2004, I worked on a feature film where I played a crack addict named “Lil’ Bit” in the powerful film,“Woman Thou Art Loosed.”

As a well-known professional dancer, choreographer, and performer, I have been blessed to perform on many stages such as The Kodak Theater, The Great Western Forum, The Shrine Auditorium, The House of Blues, etc., dancing for several major recording artists. As a principal dancer/leading lady, I’ve shared the spotlight with artists such as 50 Cent, Nelly, Gym Class Heroes, Three 6 Mafia, Kanye West, Busta Rhymes, Jim Jones, Snoop Dogg, and the list go on.

In 2005, I recorded two songs for the movie, “Dr. Doolittle 3,” in which my vocals were used to win the talent show held in the film, performed and lip-synched by the lead actress, Kyla Pratt. In 2007, I was cast on MTV’s TV show with Nick Cannon called “Wild N Out,” and would grace two episodes of the hit sketch comedy show. Shortly after, I was cast on a new show produced by Ashton Kutcher, called “Room 401.” In 2008, I worked as a dancer/actress on Ice Cube’s new movie “Janky Promoters.” I also performed as a singer, alongside rap artist, Tyga, on “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” and in November 2008, I would grace the stage with the Gym Class Heroes on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.”

I have written and released a brand new single called “Take It,” featuring Three 6 Mafia and more than 60 music and video web sites have added it to their site for rotation. I am a true artist to the fullest and I’m steadily gathering the kind of career accomplishments that will keep me in the business for decades to come…

Stay tuned for PORSCHA COLEMAN.... =)
