"Horses Single Review"

Australian duo PORSCHES have jumped the gate with their first offering "Horses" that has already picked up BBC Radio play.

Although sounding iconically from the brown-land (think shimmering synths, lightly massaged basslines) you could say these guys are fronting the next generation of indie-dance acts that Van She, Cut Copy and Midnight Juggernauts all carved out in their beginnings.

The song is crisp, it's catchy and it really makes you want to dance with your shirt off. Best bit? It's a free download so chuck this into your next DJ set. - Stoney Roads

"Want 2 - Porsches / Kilter Collaboration Review"

Listen: Kilter - Want 2 feat. Porsches
Two of Sydney's freshest electronic acts combine.
Posted By Troy Mutton 4 months ago
After dominating 2014 with the single They Say, Kilter is back with a new original to get the ball rolling in 2015, and he's employed an exciting new acts to help him out. Want 2 featuring the smooth vocals of exciting two-piece Porsches is a low-slung jam that bounces around bringing to mind the beaches and summer just gone, with a funky eye firmly planted on the dancefloor. To catch him live, and soon, Kilter will be headlining etcetc’s Vivid Music showcase at The Basement this coming June 7, where he'll be joined on stage by Porsches for the first ever live performance of Want 2, along with a lineup that also includes Paces, Set Mo and special guests Nicole Millar, KLP, Deutsch Duke. - Pile Rats

"Asta Dynamite Remix Review"

PORSCHES TURN ASTA'S 'DYNAMITE' INTO A DUBBY SUMMER ANTHEM
MP3S · UBBS · AUGUST 3RD, 2015

Sydney upstarts Porsches aren't only adept at creating slick summer goodies but tick all the boxes when it comes to the remix department.

Their latest take on Triple J Unearthed favourite Asta's "Dynamite" is another convoy of good times with plenty of trodden synths, lightly buttered percussion and smooth AF bassline.

Asta had some kind words to share about the remix "Porsches have turned Dynamite into a juicy slow dance jam and polished the dance floor to a silky shine in the process".

The Dynamite Remix EP featuring the original track, plus remixes from Porsches and Flashback, will be available digitally from Friday 7 August thanks to Warner Music. - Stoney Roads

Bio

It’s still very early days for Sydney electronic duo Porsches, who snuck out a tune very early this year titled HORSES which very quickly garnered some major acclaim from radio and print across the globe. The act soon found a home on visionary dance label Sweat It Out! where they will release a double A side Karate / High, before hitting the road with TKay Maidza on a national tour, and continuing to support the release on dates with Booka Shade, Tennsnake and Yolanda Be Cool.
