Porshia Cierra Joseph, born March 25th, 1993 is a star. Porshiaj discovered her voice her freshman year of high school. Born in Ft. Lauderdale, Porshiaj grew up with a speech impediment and was constantly picked on by her peers in her early years, but found that she could beat the stutter when she sang. Shes been singing nonstop ever
since. With the encouragement of her father who she compares to Joe Jackson she worked to really push her singing in the right direction.
Originally a dancer, Porshiaj spent a considerable amount of her time in high school dancing with the crew aptly named U4RIA. She was inducted into the crew after three attempts and still dances with them today. She stuck to dancing for a while, despite her singing abilities, because she found it unrealistic to do both. However, when she saw friends and associates in her crew breaking out, it gave rise to her desire to break out as well, taking on a dual talent.
She graduated from Piper High School as the founder of the Piper High Glee Club and was accepted into FAUs Commercial Music Department in the Fall of 2012. A vocal major, Porshiaj immediately made a name for herself, performing at every opportunity she could and snagging the prestigious title of Miss Phi Beta Sigma and competing in the state level competition of the pageant. 

She is now working on her new EP titled "Just Me" scheduled to release this Summer. Not only is she writing her own music, she's breaking into a new genre of what we call Trap R&B. Her drive and unmatchable talent is more than enough for this pop diva to break into this industry.
